Here at Wilkes University, there's different housing options for students. Whether it be traditional style or apartment style, we have a wide arrangement.
Living on campus has a lot of advantages that come with it. You have access to all of the campus events and opportunities, not only throughout the week, but also on the weekends. There's a lot of dining options here at Wilkes University as well, from the on campus cafeteria to different on-campus eateries, such as Starbucks or Which Wich or Grill Works. And then you can even take your dining experiences off campus with your flex dollars that are through your meal plan.
We also have a community where you're able to make friends right in the center of your residence hall. And as well as the convenience factor, where a two minute walk, I can be in my class.
Getting involved on campus here at Wilkes is very easy, and there are clubs and organizations and different areas and departments that you can get involved in. No matter what interests you have or what area you're passionate about, there's going to be an area that you can get involved and make a difference in what you are passionate about.
The Center for Global Education and Diversity is a center that focuses on promoting international student engagement as well as providing programming that supports a culture here at Wilkes.
Not only international students. If you have like different race, different gender. They actually treat us as any regular students. And when I came here, like they guided me through the orientation day. And they are always here to help me with anything.
The student experience here at Wilkes has been one of the best experiences of my life and really sets Wilkes apart from other institutions.

Aquí, en la Universidad de Wilkes, hay varias opciones de alojamiento para los estudiantes. Ya sea de tipo tradicional o tipo departamento, tenemos amplias opciones de hospedaje.
Vivir en el campus tiene muchas ventajas. Uno tiene acceso a todos los eventos y actividades del campus, no solo entre semana, sino también los fines de semana. En la Universidad de Wilkes también hay muchas opciones para comer, tienes desde la cafetería del campus pasando por diferentes restaurantes como Starbucks, Which Wich o Grill Works. Independientemente de cuáles sean tus intereses o el área que te apasione, habrá un ámbito en el que puedas involucrarte y marcar la diferencia en lo que te apasiona.
El Centro para la Educación Global y la Diversidad se dedica a promover la participación entre los estudiantes internacionales y a ofrecer programas que fomenten una cultura común aquí en Wilkes.
No es solo para los estudiantes internacionales. También si tu raza o género son diferentes. Nos tratan como a cualquier otro estudiante. Cuando llegué aquí, me guiaron a través del día de orientación. Siempre están aquí para ayudarme con cualquier cosa.
Mi experiencia de estudiante aquí en Wilkes ha sido una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida y es lo que realmente distingue a Wilkes de otras instituciones.
